The MCRCD provides free on-farm irrigation evaluations to help farmers improve water use efficiency. Our evaluations include system performance analysis, recommendations for improvements, and follow-up support to ensure lasting results.
Water is one of the most precious resources in the San Joaquin Valley. With increasing demands on water supplies and ongoingdrought conditions, efficient irrigation is more important than ever. Our evaluation program helps farmers identify opportunities to conserve water while maintaining or improving crop yields. Our evaluations complement the district's broader RCPP conservation efforts.
